There are just too many financial programs that are available for you! Have you gone to the finacial aid office of your school? They should have information on scholarship and grant programs that you can apply for. At 29 I am married with a 7 yr. old son. My husband of advance years is disabled. We must live on a very strict budget. Our priorities are our son, our home, our transportation, our financial obligations and lastly, ourselves. I have attended MSSU, Joplin, MO, for 3 1/2 years. The cost of living in Joplin and our limited income make it very difficult. At present I have spent unbudgetted money for taking the GRE exams and need funding for applications to Graduate Programs out of Missouri. Besides the application costs, there is the traveling to where I am accepted, securing housing, and finally moving. This is probably a long shot, but I'm desperate. I'm a 22 year old single white male of average intelligence living in the US with a GED who has somewhat wealthy parents, that wouldn't help me out if their lives depended on it. I am a 43 year old women with 4 children at home. One is 18 & is graduating high school (which I had no money to buy anything...such as cap & gown, senior portraits, etc). The other 3 are young; twins who are 8 & a 5 year old. I relocated to Texas to get married but within 3 months of moving to Texas the engagement was over. I had to give up my career in order to move. The employer I was working for in Texas fired me due to the engagement ending. He said he didn't want a single mother working for him. All of these events has put our lives in a transitional state & I am desperately trying to get back on track. I am going back to college to get a nursing degree. However, I will need financial help for school, living expenses & child care. The safety of my children are #1 and in order to focus & concentrate in school I need to know that they are okay. When my 18 year old was almost 3 he was hit by a car. As a result of that his corpus callosum was severed, he had internal bleeding from everything on the right side of his body being broken, the vertebrae in the back of his neck was shifted which would either cut off his oxygen or make him permenantly paralyzed. He was in a coma for 8 days, had traction to correct the vertebrae, and then had 4 months of rehabilitation. He is truly a medical miracle...God touched his little body & gave him back life. Although I am in a terrible situation I feel very fortunate that all of my kids are still okay.

One of the biggest pieces of proof that government grants are not a scam is all the news stories about those receiving such grants from their politician friends!

If you go to my site that has basic grant information on it you will see that there are just many, many grant programs out there!

Now as far as government grants are concerned you have to know that since these grant programs are being paid for with taxpayer money the government has to make the information "freely accessible to the public" which means that the government has their own official website and their own official printed publications about their grant programs available in public libraries.

Now on a more personal note since grant research is what I do for a living I can tell you that there are more grant programs out there than you will EVER be able to use!

And the ONLY reason why I know that these grant programs exist is because I have taken the time and the effort to look for the information. There is no secret here! If you want the information you will have to put in the time and effort to find the information.

It's just like doing your taxes. Either you do it yourself or hire someone to do it for you.
